He previously served as controller for the Indiana Department of Health as well as the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, going back to 2019. Prior to that, Harry served for over two years at the Indiana State Budget Agency as the senior budget analyst for the state's environmental agencies. He spent time as a field manager for the House Republican Campaign Committee during the 2016 election cycle. Harry also served as a legislative intern for a government affairs firm in Indianapolis during the 2017 legislative session and served as an intern for the Republican caucus of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2016 legislative session.

Harry earned his Master of Public Affairs in Public Administration degree from IUPUI in December of 2023, and he earned his bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of Indianapolis in 2016.
