Mark affiliated with Dant Advocacy in an Of Counsel capacity beginning in 2021, to continue utilizing his decades of legislative experience for the benefit of the clients of Dant Advocacy.
Mark worked nearly fifteen years for the Indiana Legislative Services Agency, the nonpartisan legislative staff of the Indiana General Assembly. In his last full-time position with the agency, he served as Director of the Office of Code Revision where he was responsible for the review and editing of all legislation as well as overseeing the publishing of all Indiana legislative publications.

Mark's career included experience in state regulatory work from employment with the Indiana State Board of Health to the federal legislative process through work in a congressional office on Capitol Hill, as well as counsel for several trade and professional associations.

The most recent twenty-eight years of Mark's career were spent as a partner in the government relations consulting firm of Beebe, Scherer, & Associates where Mark represented the legislative needs of a number of trade and professional associations at the Indiana Statehouse.

Mark attended Purdue University and earned his bachelor's degree and law degree from Indiana University.
